The North Coast Harbor Boating & Fishing Fest is a free annual event that gives children and families the opportunity to get out on the water.

Since 1998, the LEMTA Educational Foundation has given away more than $90.000 in scholarships to local students interested in the marine industry. The organization’s biggest fundraiser is the annual Norm Schultz Open Golf Outing & Fishing Tournament, which will be held at the new Arthur Hills course at the Catawba Island Club. All members are encouraged to participate, whether it be by playing golf, fishing for a team, providing a boat, or through sponsorship.
